What treatment involves
Consultation
We discuss what you would like to change and examine your teeth, gums and existing restorations.
Comparing suitable options
We explain the differences between procedures, the preparation needed and the costs.
Treatment and review
We carry out the agreed treatment and check the colour, shape and bite. We also discuss care at home afterwards.
Follow-up care
Healthy teeth and gums come first
Before whitening or reshaping teeth, we check for decay and assess your gums and existing fillings. If other treatment is needed first, we include it in the plan.
Frequently asked questions
Before your visit
Will whitening lighten crowns and fillings too?
Whitening changes the colour of natural teeth, not crowns or fillings. We therefore assess any shade differences during your consultation.
Do I need to decide on veneers before my consultation?
No. Just explain what you would like to change. Depending on your teeth, we can compare whitening, changes to fillings, veneers and other suitable options.
